Family Firm Institute Connection

In the spring of the 2020, and assisted by Dr. Randall Croom and Dr. A.T. Vogel, the Family Firm Institute began supporting the empirical research initiative within the School of Business Administration.

Diversity in Methodology

With the help of former student and current adjunct professor, Ms. Mackenzie Nalven, empirical research became focal during the throes of the pandemic. Embarking on a mixed methods study along with Dr. A.T. Vogel and several others, in the summer of 2020, Ms. Nalven aided in a pivot to include qualitative methodologies as part of the empirical research movement the School of Business Administration.

By the spring of 2021, the Family Firm Institute began to support those in the School of Business Administration seeking to conduct interdisciplinary research and, specifically, to apply the knowledge gleaned from such efforts within and across individuals, organizations, and industries.
