Hatmob Research and Resources “R&R” Schedule

In the fall of 2025 the Hatmob Executive Board will host three (3) “Research and Resources” (R&R) events. Each qualifies for cultural credit, and will provide updates on the empirical research projects the E-Board Members are currently working on in the following categories:

Qualitative Methodology

11/5/25 @ 5:30 PM in LBC 213

To support their peers on 11/5/25, in partnership with SGA, Ms. Lindsey Bartz, Ms. Hana Saich, and Ms. Alexa Wooten will describe a qualitative study the team is working on with Dr. A.T. Vogel in the Department of Management and Organizations. After attending the cultural credit, student should:

  • Have a basic conceptualization of qualitative methodology (e.g., hermeneutics),
  • Understand when qualitative methodology might be appropriate for a problem, and
  • Be able to identify artifacts and other types of qualitative data.

Quantitative Methodology

11/12/25 @ 5:30 PM in LBC 213

To support their peers on 11/12/25, Ms. Lilly Bruns, Mr. Jackson Frank, and Jada Jn-phillip will describe several quantitative studies the team is working with Dr. Randall Croom and Dr. Kevin Taylor in the Department of Management and Organizations and Dr. John Rasp in the Department of Business Systems and Analytics. After attending the cultural credit, student should:

  • Have a basic conceptualization of how quantitative data are analyzed,
  • Understand when quantitative methodology might be appropriate for a problem, and
  • Be able to identify survey instruments and items traditionally used to collect quantitative data.

Corporate Law and Liability Issues

11/20/25 @ 5:30 PM in LBC 108

To support their peers on 11/18/25, Ms. Alejandra Estrada, Mr. Jeremy Korah, and Ms. Olivia Parcesepe will describe data analysis being conducted on corporate and political apologies with Dr. Randall Croom in the Department of Management and Organizations as well as legal research the team is working on with Dr. A.T. Vogel in the Department of Management and Organizations. After attending the cultural credit, student should:

  • Have a general conceptualization of how text within corporate apologies is able to be assessed,
  • Be able to identify types of corporate assets,
  • Understand identity in a legal sense, and
  • Have a basic conceptualization of animal rights.
