March 7, 2026: Jacksonville, Florida

Since fall of 2024, Ms. Alexa Wooten, a senior accounting major in Stetson’s School of Business Administration, has been conducting empirical research in alliance with faculty. Ms. Wooten has presented status updates locally via Hatmob Executive Business Bite cultural credits in both spring and fall of 2025. As she prepared for her spring 2026 Business Bite update, Alexa also decided to do some outward facing research dissemination.

On Saturday, March 7, 2026 in Jacksonville, Florida, Ms. Wooten presented the empirical research at the Florida Undergraduate Research Conference (FURC). This is the second appearance of the Hatmob Executive Board at the conference, having sent two students to FURC in spring of 2022 in addition to sending four students to the National Conference of Undergraduate Research that spring (read about it HERE).
